Ask questions, compare alternatives and take your time. We only proceed when you say yes to a specific option.
We confirm and stay reachable
Once the supplier confirms, you receive the ticket and summary by email. If plans shift later, call the same desk.
A practical guide to airline reservations
Most booking problems start with a detail that was easy to miss: a name that does not match the passport, a fare that cannot be changed, or a connection that looked longer than it really is. This guide explains how reservations generally work so you know what to check before you pay — and what to expect when something changes.
What the help desk is, and what it is not
Booking Nodex is an independent travel assistance service operated by Nodex Global LLC. We are not an airline, we do not operate aircraft and we do not set fares, baggage rules or refund policies. We help you compare options, make reservations through travel suppliers and understand the conditions attached to your ticket.
The airline or supplier remains responsible for operating the flight and for the rules printed on your ticket. Where their conditions differ from general guidance on this page, the supplier's terms always take priority.
Choosing a fare that fits the trip
The cheapest headline price is not always the cheapest journey. When you compare fares, look at the total cost including checked bags, seat selection and the cost of changing the date later. A slightly higher fare that allows changes can be better value than a promotional fare you have to abandon.
Also check the shape of the journey: total travel time, connection length, airport changes and the time of day you arrive. A tight connection in a large airport is riskier than a longer layover, and an early-morning arrival may mean an extra night of accommodation.
Check before you pay
Confirm that every passenger name matches the travel document exactly, including middle names and suffixes. Correct the spelling before ticketing — some suppliers charge for corrections and others do not allow them at all. Check dates, departure times and the direction of each leg; an overnight flight can make the date look different from what you expected.
Look at passport validity, visa and transit requirements before booking. Many destinations require a passport valid for several months beyond your return date, and some connections require a transit visa even if you never leave the airport. Entry rules are set by governments, not by airlines or by us.
Changing a reservation
Whether you can change a flight depends on the fare rules attached to your ticket. Flexible fares usually allow a date or time change for a fee plus any difference in fare. Deep-discount fares may allow no changes at all, or only against a significant charge. Changes made close to departure often cost more, and the new fare is priced at the day you make the change.
If you ask us to handle a change, we confirm availability and the full cost first. A change is not complete until the supplier has accepted it and you have received an updated confirmation.
Cancellations and refunds
Refund eligibility comes from the fare rules, not from how far in advance you cancel. Refundable tickets may return the fare minus cancellation charges; non-refundable tickets may still return government taxes or offer travel credit, depending on the supplier and the reason for cancellation.
Processing times are set by the supplier and can range from a few days to several billing cycles. Keep the cancellation reference we give you and do not assume a booking is cancelled until you have written confirmation. Our refund policy and cancellation policy explain the process in more detail.
Baggage, seats and extra services
Baggage allowances are tied to the fare and route, not just the cabin class. A carry-on that is included on one ticket may be a paid extra on another. Adding a bag after ticketing is usually more expensive than including it at the time of booking, and airport rates can be higher again.
Seat requests are subject to aircraft changes and supplier rules. Sports equipment, musical instruments, pets and mobility aids usually need approval in advance and may not fit standard allowance limits. Tell us about any special assistance or medical need early so the request can be passed to the supplier.
Check-in and airport day
Online check-in normally opens between 24 and 48 hours before departure, though this varies by supplier. The name on the boarding pass must match the travel document. Save a copy of the boarding pass offline in case airport Wi-Fi is unreliable.
As a rule of thumb, arrive two hours before a domestic departure and three hours before an international one. If a flight is delayed or cancelled, the operating airline controls rebooking and disruption support. We can help you understand the options and contact the supplier where permitted, but we cannot override their decision.
Groups, families and multi-city trips
Groups of ten or more usually need a name list, a deposit and a longer confirmation window. Multi-city itineraries can combine fares with different baggage and change rules, so check each segment rather than assuming the whole trip works the same way. Call early — the more complex the trip, the more useful an extra day of planning becomes.
In short: we are an independent travel assistance service. We do not own or operate any airline, and we do not claim any third-party brand, logo or trademark. Airline and supplier names belong to their respective owners and are used elsewhere on this site only to identify the companies whose rules apply to your booking.

Questions travellers ask most
Straight answers about reservations, changes and what we can do for you.
Can I make a new booking through the help desk?
Yes. Call +1 877-479-3948 and tell us the route, dates and number of travellers. We compare the options available through our supplier systems, explain the fare rules and confirm the booking only after you approve.
Does Booking Nodex charge a service fee?
Some reservations carry a service fee. When one applies, we tell you the amount before you pay and show it separately from the airline fare, taxes and supplier charges. There is no charge for asking questions.
Can you help with a booking made somewhere else?
Often we can review it, but some suppliers only allow the original booking agency to make changes. We will explain what is possible before you commit to anything.
What happens if the airline changes or cancels my flight?
The operating airline controls rebooking, refunds and disruption support. We help you understand the options, contact the supplier where permitted and submit requests on your behalf.
Are seats and checked bags included?
It depends on the fare you choose. We confirm the baggage allowance and seat rules before payment. Extra bags or specific seats can usually be added later, subject to availability and the supplier's price at that time.
How will I receive my ticket?
After the supplier confirms your reservation, the ticket and booking summary are sent to the email address on the booking. Check the names, dates and times straight away and contact us if anything looks wrong.
Do you handle groups and multi-city trips?
Yes. Groups of ten or more and multi-city itineraries need more planning, so call as early as you can. Group bookings usually require a name list and a deposit, and some multi-city fares have stricter rules.
Can you help with passports or visas?
We do not issue passports or visas and cannot give legal immigration advice. We can point you to the official sources to check entry and transit requirements, but the traveller is responsible for having the correct documents.
